No offence clips Cards wings

If the Hamilton Cardinals AAA Minor Pee Wees could have found just one hit on Wednesday (July 25) the outcome of their game against Oakville might have been different.

The Cards were held to one hit – a Ben Woodhouse single in the sixth inning – and lost 4-3 to the A’s in the Central Ontario Baseball Association game at Mohawk Sports Park.

Reliever Jared Hill was tagged with the loss giving up two runs – 1 earned – while striking out four.

The result left Hamilton with an 11-7 record in league play.
