Pee Wee2 Cards extend win streak

Hamilton Cardinals Minor Pee Wee2 team was flying higher and faster than the Georgetown Eagles in Central Ontario Baseball Association play on Tuesday (July 24). The Cards picked up their 16th win in regular season play with a 20-2 rout of the Eagles on Tuesday night.

The visiting Cards scored 13 runs in the second inning to take full command of the game and won their third game in a row.

Jack Morin picked up the win while Michael Wheaton hit an inside-the-park home run to highlight the Cards offence.

The Cards will compete in a tournament this weekend before resuming league play on Monday (July 30) in Brampton.
