The Burlington Bulls went for a walk – actually, they went for 12 walks – and it led them to an 8-6 win over the Hamilton Cardinals Minor Pee Wees.
Hamilton absorbed the Central Ontario Baseball Association setback even though they outhit their hosts 10-4 during Thursday’s (July 26) contest at Ireland Park.
Ben Woodhouse had a strong showing at the plate for the Cardinals with a 2-for-3 effort which included a first inning double and a third inning single. Woodhouse also scored twice.
Tommy Thompson and Connor Goodes were each 1-for-2 with one run scored and Ian Jordan was 1-for-3 with a run scored.
The result left the Cards with an 11-8 record in league play.
