One night after suffering their third loss – 7-3 to the Brampton Royals – of the Central Ontario Baseball Association regular season, the Hamilton Cardinals Pee Wee 2s downed the Burlington Bulls, 8-2 on Tuesday (July 31).
Colton Roberts dominated the Bulls’ batters allowing just one run in six innings of work. Michael Wheaton came in during the seventh inning and allowed one run to preserve an 8-2 win.
Kamryn Bain finished 3-for-4 with two runs scored. Brock Hudecki went 2-for-3 with a walk and scored once and Kyle Samson and Michael Wheaton finished 2-for-4.
In Monday’s game, Samson got the start and pitched four Innings, giving up five runs – 3 unearned – striking out seven Brampton batters, walking two, and giving up four hits. Reliever Mitchell Snow threw the final two innings and struck out three.
At the Plate, Jack Morin and Snow went 3-for-3 while Jacob Gajic and Hunter Lancia were 2-for-3.
