Otters offer tickets for pre-season games

Tickets for the Erie Otters two exhibition games scheduled in the Hamilton-area are now on sale.

The Ontario Hockey League’s Otters will take on the defending Eastern Conference champion Niagara IceDogs on Friday, Aug. 31 at the Morgan Firestone Arena in Ancaster. Tickets for the 7 p.m. contest are $10.00 and a portion of the proceeds will support Ancaster’s Rotary Spray Pad Project.

On Saturday, Sept. 1 at 7 p.m., the Otters will face off against the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s Rouyn-Noranda Huskies at the North Wentworth Arena in Flamborough. That game will benefit Skate the Dream program, which offers underprivileged children in Hamilton the opportunity to play ice hockey. Tickets are $12.00 or $10.00 with a donation to the Flamborough Food Bank.

Tickets for both games can be purchased at the Morgan Firestone Arena, 385 Jerseyville Road West.

The Otters, based in Erie, PA., moved their training camp while renovations are done to their area.
