Marauder outstanding in centre field

McMaster Marauder Paul Saville, of Dundas, has been named to the Ontario University Athletics all-star baseball team.

The centre fielder was a staple in the Marauders lineup all season long. He had a batting average of .324 for the season with six RBI, 20 runs scored, and 23 hits in just 21 games.

His best game came on Oct. 5 against the Western Mustangs when he had four hits and three runs. The Marauders beat the Mustangs 10-6 that day.

McMaster finished league play with a 7-14 record and in seventh place in the eight team league,

The Toronto Varsity Blues won the baseball championship, defeating the Brock Badgers, 4-0, on Sunday (Oct. 14).
