The visiting McMaster Marauders picked up their 12th win of the season, blanking the Windsor Lancers, 1-0, in Ontario University Athletics men’s soccer on Saturday (Oct. 20).
The win gave McMaster a 12-1-2 record. The Marauders are second in the West Division, three points back of undefeated York, 13-0-2.
Daniel Niksic had the game’s lone goal and it came in the 32nd minute. It was his second goal of his two-year career as a Marauder.
Goal keeper Angelo Cavalluzzo earned his seventh shutout of the season.
The Marauders take on the Western Mustangs Sunday (Oct. 21) in London to finish regular season play.
