Mohawk headed to Niagara and had mixed results in the Knights Women’s Volleyball Invitational.
In pool play, Mohawk shook off a slow start and rallied to beat Seneca 3-1 (17-25, 25-21, 25-22, 25-17). They then lost 3-1 to Fanshawe (16-25, 13-25, 25-17,14-25). In their final preliminary match, Sheridan took the Mountaineers 3-2 (21-25, 21-25, 25-18, 29-27,10-15)
In a consolation match, Mohawk, which finished third in its pool, blanked the fourth place team from the other pool, Canadore, 3-0 (25-10, 25-11, 25-19.)
Humber won the gold medal, defeating Georgian 3-1 (25-12, 25-16, 25-7).
