Smithville native Mireille Musca is the Pioneer Energy Ontario University Athletics Female Athlete of the Week for the period ending Oct. 21.

The third-year team member from Kitchener was sensational capturing the individual men’s title at the OUA golf championships, played at Grey Silo in Waterloo.
The fourth-year Management Economics student was lights out on back-to-back days in tough weather conditions to earn the individual gold medal, firing a two-day total 5-under, 137 (70-67).
He was named an OUA first-team all-star and also helped lead his team to an overall bronze medal.
