Two basketball wins put Mohawk No. 2 in Canada

The reigning national champion Mohawk men’s basketball team is ranked No. 2.

Early season wins gave the Mountaineers a second place rating this week by the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA). The Algoma Thunderbirds, who are off to a 4-0 start, are ranked number one in the country.

Meanwhile, Mohawk’s men’s volleyball team, which won it’s opening match, is number 11 in the CCAA rankings. Humber, the defending national champions, also 1-0, are rated number one.
