Marauders beat the Blues to stay unbeaten

Toronto – The McMaster men’s volleyball team stayed undefeated after a game against the Toronto Varsity Blues on Sunday (Nov 11).

The Marauders completed their weekend road trip with a three-set win with scores of 25-20, 25-18 and 25-23. In the third was McMaster’s highest kill percentage of 34% with 14 kills and just five errors.

Stephen Maar (Aurora) finished off a personally great weekend with a game-high 10 kills and three and a half blocks and Kevin Stevens (Winnipeg) added nine kills and nine digs for the Marauders.

Nathaniel Virgo (Pickering) was Toronto’s high scorer with 12 points on six kills and six blocks. Jake Dysselhof (Mississauga) recorded a team-high eight kills and setter Michael Denton (Scarborough) recorded 29 assists.

The Marauders host the Guelph Gryphons on Friday night at 8pm, changed from the original date of the game that was meant for Saturday at 3pm.
