Two ’Dogs sent to new house

The Hamilton Bulldogs have reassigned forward Alain Berger and defenceman Joe Stejskal to the Wheeling Nailers of the East Coast Hockey League.

Berger, 21, has played nine games with the Bulldogs this season recording 10 shots on goal and four penalty minutes. In two seasons with the American Hockey League team, the 6’4”, 194-pound forward has registered seven points (one goal, six assists) and 21 penalty minutes in 56 regular season games.

Stejskal, 24, has played four games with Hamilton this season posting two assists and two penalty minutes. The native of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, has played 59 regular season games over two seasons for the Bulldogs collecting five assists and 28 penalty minutes.

The Bulldogs’ next game is in Syracuse against the Crunch on Friday, Dec. 7.
