Benedetti returns to Softball Ontario role

baseball2Hamiltonian Joe Benedetti takes over as Softball Ontario’s new Coaches Committee Chairman.

Benedetti is an accomplished National Coaching Certification Program Level 3 Coach in softball with over 15 years experience. An active Softball Ontario volunteer since becoming a Master Course Conductor for Softball Ontario in 1991, Benedetti has also worked with Softball Ontario as a past Coaching Committee Chairman, Coaching Committee member, Softball Ontario Level 3 Instructor/Practical Evaluator and as a Learning Facilitator for the new National Certification Coaching Program.

He has instructed at many of Softball Ontario’s Learning Facilitator/Instructor Training sessions and Softball Ontario Coaches Symposiums. He has been active with the Ancaster Blizzard Minor Girls Softball Association as a coach and director of softball, Flamborough Minor Softball Association as an executive member, Ancaster Select Tournament as the tournament director and the Coaches Association of Ontario as a National Coaching Certification Program Learning Facilitator for Multi Sport A and Multi Sport B and Competition Introduction and Development modules.

Softball Ontario is the governing body for the sport of softball in Ontario. Its goal is to promote and develop the sport of softball for its athletes, officials and volunteers by providing programs and services at all levels of competitions.
