Montreal Canadiens’ prospect Brady Vail has signed an Amateur Try-Out Contract with the Hamilton Bulldogs.
The 19-year-old Vail was drafted in the fourth round – 94th overall – in the 2012 National Hockey League Entry Draft. This season the forward played 68 games for the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League registering 55 points (20 goals, 35 assists) and 47 penalty minutes, ranking second on the team in assists and points.
The 6’1”, 194-pound forward spent three seasons in the OHL recording 117 points (45 goals, 72 assists) and 129 penalty minutes in 197 regular season games. The native of Palm City, Florida played the 2009-10 season for the Waterloo Black Hawks of the United States Hockey League posting eight points (four and four) and 40 penalty minutes in 48 regular season games.
The Bulldogs’ next American Hockey League game is against the Crunch in Syracuse on Friday (March 22).
