The Montreal Canadiens have reassigned forward Olivier Fortier to the Orlando Solar Bears of the East Coast Hockey League.
Fortier, 23, played 32 games for the Bulldogs this season recording two points from a goal and an assist and 15 penalty minutes with a minus-one rating. In 23 games with Orlando this season, the Quebec City native has posted nine goals, 10 assists and eight penalty minutes with a minus-seven rating.
He was selected by the Canadiens in the third round (65th overall) of the 2007 National Hockey League Entry Draft.
The Bulldogs’ next game is against the Crunch in Syracuse on Friday (March 22) at 7:30 p.m.
