This year’s edition of the Ontario University Athletics annual women’s soccer showcase will have a heavy McMaster Marauder influence.

Marauders’ head coach Brett Mosen will walk the touchline for the OUA West team, while four of his players – goalkeeper Brittney Duffey, defenders Julia Maiolino and Sophia Ykema, and midfielder Emma Mangialardi will suit up alongside him.

Mosen guided the Marauders to a 10-4-3 record in 2012, and a fourth-place finish in OUA. It was the coach’s second season at the helm at McMaster, and his teams have reached the conference semi-finals both seasons.

Duffey was named as an OUA West Second-Team All Star in 2012, as the Marauders posted 10 clean sheets in combined conference and playoff play.

The 2013 OUA Women’s Soccer Showcase will be played at the OSA Centre in Vaughan on May 4. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.
