Mohawk-MountaineersFour recruits have been announced by Mohawk women’s volleyball coach Andrew Nicholson for the 2013-14 Mountaineers.

Setter Corinne McGrath, 5’5”, from Jacob Hespeler Secondary School and Hamilton’s Mountain Athletic Club, was a Junior and Senior Volleyball MVP and a First Team All-Star for the Kitchener-Waterloo area. She captured a Cambridge Sports Hall of Fame Award.

Kaylee Duncan is a 6’0” middle from Huron Heights Secondary School in Newmarket and the Aurora Storm, a very successful club program. She is regarded as a highly skilled player who will give the Mountaineers’ attack in Ontario Colleges Athletic Association play another dangerous option.

Libero Mackenzie Pulham, 5’5”, a product of Pauline Johnson CVI and the Brantford Tornadoes, was her club team’s ‘Heart and Hustle’ and Most Consistent Serve Awards winner in 2012. She’s not only a talented volleyball player, but also a provincial level gymnast.

A 6’1” middle/rightside, Jessica Burdett comes to the Mountaineers from Hamilton’s Sir Allan MacNab SS. She was a Mohawk Volleyball Tournament All-Star in 2012 and a former MacNab Junior Athlete of the Year. She also played hockey, but her passion is volleyball and she is very athletic and quick.
