Rain gets the better of Cards

ibl_cardinals_thumbThe Hamilton Cardinals game scheduled for Thursday (June 13) in Kitchener against the Panthers was postponed due to poor field and weather conditions. No date has been announced to make up the senior Intercounty Baseball League game.

The Cardinals next game is scheduled for Friday (June 14) when the Toronto Maple Leafs visit Bernie Arbour Stadium for a 7:30 p.m. start.

The Cards have a 4-10 record and sit in sixth place in the eight-team loop. The Maple Leafs are fifth with a 6-8 record. Hamilton is nine games back of first place Brantford Red Sox. Hamilton hopes to end a three-game losing streak while the Maple Leafs will be going after their third straight win.
