Sparta blanks opponents to claim Ancaster Heritage tourney

HDT logoThe Hamilton Sparta 2003 boys soccer team claimed the Under-10 division of the Ancaster Heritage Days 10th Annual Heritage Days Tournament during the June 15-16 weekend.

Hamilton Sparta went undefeated through four games, scoring 27 goals while giving up none.

The title was the team’s third tournament championship of the year. The team would also like to acknowledge the Ancaster Soccer Club and the hundreds of volunteers for organizing a fantastic event for all of the players and their families. The tournament is now the largest single weekend soccer tournament in all of Ontario, with over 370 teams, 5,000 players and 15,000 fans.
