MohawkIt was a successful trip to Peterborough for the Mohawk women’s basketball team which won two of three games in a tournament at Fleming College.

In their final game on Sunday (Sept. 29), the Mountaineers whipped the Cambrian Golden Shield of Sudbury, 66-18.

Careena Browne scored 14 points, Allyson Delorenzi notched 13 and Carissa Browne collected 11.

Earlier in the event, Mohawk dumped the host Fleming Knights 65-18, but lost 54-53 to the Durham Lords.
