Mac cross country teams nationally ranked


cis_logoThe Marauder men’s and women’s cross country teams have both been ranked to open the 2013 season, placing fifth and sixth respectively in the sport’s first top ten poll.

In cross-country, the reigning Canadian Interuniversity Sport champion Guelph Gryphons top the first women’s and men’s rankings of the campaign. The Guelph women and men have captured the last eight and seven national team banners, respectively, both record streaks.

The Guelph men’s team includes Hamilton natives Anthony Romaniw and Adams Rowles, St. Catharines’ Christopher Hutton and Welland’s Brayden Seneca.

On the women’s team are Hamilton’s Olivia Romaniw, Dundas natives Paige Tate and Robyn Mildren, Heather Petrick of Niagara-on-the-Lake, and Alannah MacDonald of Fonthill.
