Iszkula had a game-high six points on the strength of three goals and three assists, as the Marauder men’s field lacrosse team defeated the Toronto Varsity Blues 13-7 on Friday. The third-year attacker scored twice as part of a five-goal first quarter that powered McMaster into a commanding lead.
His third came on the power play in the fourth quarter, effectively putting the game out of Toronto’s reach.
McDonald enjoyed her best result of the season to lead the Marauder women’s cross country team to a third-place finish at the AUS-RSEQ Interlock in Montreal on Saturday.
McDonald claimed individual bronze in the women’s six-kilometre event, posting a time of 21:22. The second-year runner and her teammates will now have two weeks to train before hosting the Ontario University Athletics championships on Oct. 26.
