Zac Moore of Bishop Tonnos Catholic Secondary School shot a two-round total of 12-over-par 154 to finish in an 11-way tie for 18th at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations golf championship in Essex on Thursday (Oct. 17).
Moore, the 2013 Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic Athletic Association individual champion, carded rounds of 76 and 78 against a field of 123 players.
The tournament was won by Maxwell Sear of Markham’s Bill Crothers (142).
Daniel D’Andrade of Burlington Corpus Christi, who ended up tied with Moore for the individual title at the recent Golden Horseshoe Athletic Conference tournament, placed 17th at OFSAA. His score was 153 (77-76).
The Crothers Colts also captured the team championship. The GHAC representatives from Burlington Notre Dame – Nick Freeman, Brandon Freeman, Matt Hogan and Davis Jewitt – finished 17th.
