Yellow Jackets sting opponents in basketball tourney

Hamilton’s Blessed Sacrament Major Bantam Girls (Grade 8 girls) team proved size isn’t everything.

Playing in the Junior Girls High School Basketball tournament this past weekend (Nov. 1-2) at Toronto’s Hoops Dome, the Yellow Jackets – physically smaller than their opponents – had no trouble in dispatching them to the sidelines.

Using their intense defensive, Blessed Sacrament forced their opponents to turn the ball over, allowing for many scoring opportunities for the Yellow Jackets.
