Talk about closing the golf season in grand style.
On the second-last day of play for the year, three members of the Burlington Golf and Country Club carded holes-in-one on Saturday (Nov. 16).
Brad Rollo aced the 153-yard second hole and Steen Melander dropped his first shot on the 163-yard 18th into the cup. Completing the threesome was Fred Bauer who found his good fortune on the 11th hole, a 159-yard drive.
And the odds of that happening, you ask?
Once in 168 years, based on the number of players that day and once in 95 years during on an average day during the season at BGCC.
