Mohawk badminton starts season at No. 7


badmintonThe Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association has ranked the Mohawk Mountaineers seventh in its first national badminton placements this season.

Other Ontario Colleges Athletic Association ranked teams on the initial list include Humber at No. 3, St. Clair at No. 11 and Centennial at No. 14.

The top team in this first set of rankings is Langara College from Vancouver and the PACWEST Conference.

Mohawk continues to prepare for the West Regional Championships, Feb. 7-8 at Fanshawe College in London. The OCAA championships will be at Humber College in Etobicoke the following weekend.

The CCAA finals are to be played at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in Edmonton, Feb. 26 to March 1.
