After four games and with Blessed Sacrament holding a 3-1 record, Charlie Bontis leads all scorers with 89 points from 33 field goals, one three-pointer and 20 drops from the foul line.
His next nearest challenger has 65 points.
Sitting in seventh place with 46 points is Kostas Poulimenos, who’s scored 14 field goals and added 18 more free-throw.
Adam Baldin has used his 34 points from 13 buckets, two three-pointers and two from the foul line.
Five teams, including the Oakville Venoms, have 4-0 records. Blessed Sacrament and one other team are right behind them.
ABS is an Ontario Youth Basketball League co-operative organization which supports Basketball Ontario in taking basketball in the province to the next level. League play includes grades 4-12 for boys and grades 7 and 8 for girls. It finished its first season of play in 2012-13.
