The previously unbeaten Marauders’ men’s volleyball team sampled defeat for the first time in conference play this season (Jan. 24) and dropped position to No. 2, squandering a fourth-set lead before falling to the now-No. 7-ranked Waterloo Warriors in five.

McMaster bounced back two days later, sweeping the Guelph Gryphons at the Burridge Gym. The team will look to add two more wins to its tally — and maintain its grasp on Ontario University Athletics top spot. Mac travels to Kingston for matches against the RMC Paladins and Queen’s Gaels on Friday and Saturday (Jan. 31-Feb. 1).
