Henry Carr triumphs at 89th Hamilton Indoor Games


The 89th edition of the Hamilton Indoor Games took place last Thursday and Friday (Feb 20-21) at FirstOntario Centre.

Established in 1908 the Games are organized and hosted by the 91st Highlanders Athletic Association, a not-for-profit volunteer organization committed to developing the sport of track and field at the grassroots level and promoting the benefits of physical activity to youth.

Friday’s events featured participation from high schools not only from the Golden Horseshoe region, but as far as Sudbury.

Etobicoke’s Father Henry Carr were the overall high school champions.
