Their latest outing included teams from across Ontario, making it one of the largest tournaments in the province with 12 teams vying for the title of Division 1 Tournament Champion.

In pool play, the Transway girls faced teams from Ancaster (44-24), Chatham (45-30), and York (44-15). The semi-finals pitted them against a tough opponent from Toronto (44-39) and that victory sent Transway into the championship game for a classic matchup with long time court rivals Blessed Sacrament. Transway prevailed 48-38 for the crown.

The competition was intense throughout the three days, and the team battled hard, sometimes having to come from behind or to fight through a closely contested match before eventually winning their games. The Transway team looks forward to the provincial championship in Windsor in April, where they hope to continue their winning streak, and regain their title as Division 1 Provincial Champions.
