McMaster Rower to compete in World Cup with Men’s Eights Crew

Medal eludes Canadians at Paralympic rowing

Canada finished sixth overall in 3:45.66 (over 1,000 metres) in the mixed four event of the Paralympic rowing regatta on Thursday (Sept.11). Italy (03:33.13), the U.S. (03:37.61) and Great Britain (03:38.37) picked up medals in this event.

Paralympic rowers paddle to finals

Canada’s adaptive LTA4+ (legs, trunk and arms coxed four) advanced to the finals after finishing second in the repechage at the Paralympic rowing regatta in Beijing, China.
Great Britain won the rep in 3:44.90, with Canada taking the next qualifying spot in 3:48.76 on Tuesday.

St. Kitts’ rower takes aim at Paralympics
