The Hamilton Bulldogs were established in 1996 as an AHL affiliate team for the Edmonton Oilers. In 2002, a local consortium purchased the team from Edmonton and it became the AHL affiliate for the Montreal Canadiens. The Bulldogs have produced many players and coaching staff who have gone on to success in the NHL. Hamilton plays their home games at Copps Coliseum. Bulldogs change a Locke, ring a new Belle
Hamilton Bulldogs all-time leading scorer in the American Hockey League, forward Corey Locke, has been traded away by the parent National Hockey League Montreal Canadiens. Locke became a member of the Locke becomes a member of the NHL's Minnesota Wild.

Bulldogs take preseason show to St. John's
The Hamilton Bulldogs, American Hockey League affiliate of the National Hockey League's Montreal Canadiens, will stage their 2008 training camp at Mile One Centre in St. John's, Newfoundland. The camp will run from Monday, Sept. 29 through Sunday, Oct. 5.

Canadiens extend the season for six AHL 'Dogs
The Montreal Canadiens will continue their quest for a 25th Stanley Cup Championship with some familiar faces on the bench. General Manager Bob Gainey announced that the Club has recalled six players, and two coaches from the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Hamilton Bulldogs center Corey Locke has been named the CCM/AHL Player of the Month for April. Locke tallied 7 goals, 8 assists, 15 points and a plus-11 rating in just seven games to close out the 2007-2008 season.

'Dogs finish season in fourth place

Corey Locke had two goals and an assist to lead the Hamilton Bulldogs to a 4-1 win over the Lake Erie Monsters on Saturday night at the Quicken Loans Arena.

'Dogs drop final home game of the season
The Hamilton Bulldogs had their three-game winning streak and five-game point streak snapped on Friday night with a 3-2 loss to the Toronto Marlies at Copps Coliseum in their final home game of the 2007-2008 season.

Locke, Bulldogs streak to outburst
Corey Locke tied a franchise record with six points (3-3-6) and the Hamilton Bulldogs scored seven unanswered goals to down the Rochester Americans 8-4 on Wednesday night (April 9) at Copps Coliseum.

Dogs' Dejardins posts back-to-back AHL wins
Matt D'Agostini registered a goal, an assist and was named first star in the Hamilton Bulldogs 3-1 win over the Grand Rapids Griffins on Sunday at Copps. The win does not change that they will miss the playoffs, one season after winning the Calder Cup.
