ANN ARBOR, Michigan — Hamilton Aquatic Club member Amy Harriman was a bronze medal winner at the Eric Namesnik Memorial Grand Prix swimming competitions over the weekend.
Competing in the womens 200-metre backstroke, Harriman, 15, was timed in 2:18.07 for the medal winning performance. Harriman is a promising Canadian swimmer who attends Westmount Secondary School and is in Grade 11.
Oakville’s Andrew Hurd was fourth in 2:09.10 in the men’s 200 backstroke. The winning time was 2:04.22 by Keith Beavers of Waterloo.
