Ready to strike at Canadian Tenpin Championship

Hamilton’s George Lambert IV is the men’s leader as the Canadian Tenpin Federation National Championships head into the final day of competition.

Lambert holds a 44-pin margin over Quebec’s Daniel Skitt at the championships taking place in Vancouver. The event concludes today. Lambert is competing against 86 other men vying for spots on Team Canada which will represent the country at international events in 2007.

Lambert was in sixth place after two days of qualifying. His 2673 match-play total gives him a 7668 score to start the final day. of competition. The fields (men’s and women’s) has been reduced to 18 bowlers.
