Hamilton Tiger-Cats make more cuts at training camp

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats training camp is minus seven hopefuls today.

After the Tabbies 31-3 pre-season win over the Argonauts in Toronto on Friday night, the Canadian Football League team released seven players.

Gone are:

  • linebacker, Mickey Donovan
  • running back, Les Mullings
  • defensive back, Sasha Glavic
  • defensive back, Antwoine Sanders
  • defensive back, Antonio Thomas
  • defensive back, Eric Nielsen
  • offensive lineman, Chris Sutherland

    The Ticats have returned to their own home field, Ivor Wynne Stadium, after using McMaster University facilities for their training camp base the past two weeks. The Ticats held their first team practice at Ivor Wynne on Sunday (June 4).

    The Ticats and Argos butt heads again on Friday (June 9) in their second pre-season game at Ivor Wynne. Kick-off is 7 p.m.
