Two firsts, a second for Burlington synchro club

The Burlington Synchronized Swimming Club scored three podium finishes as Canada’s top Tier 6 and 7 competitors met at the Espoir National Championships from June 4-8.

In the Tier 7 Junior Figures division, it was a one-two punch for Burlington Synchro with Evelina Wolejszo and Robin Lynch placing first and second at the Kinsmen Aquatic Centre in Edmonton. Wolejszo scored 70.983 while Lynch was second with 70.267 points.

Burlington then took second place in the Select Team event, narrowly missing a first place finish. Burlington scored 68.126 in Figures and 69.000 in Routine for a final score of 68,563. Nova Scotia’s Atlantis Synchro was first with scores of 67.733 (Figures) and 71.500 (Routine) for a final total of 69.617.
