The Stoney Creek Optimist Little League isn’t letting a deep freeze get in the way of the 2009 summer baseball season. The league is set to run its winter clinics, which are open to registered SCOLL players from T-Ball to Major Ball.
The clinics will be done in two age groups. Group 1 will consist of T-Ball and Rookie Ball players (ages four to eight) while Group 2 is for Minor and Major Ball players (ages nine to 12).

The clinics will provide players with instruction on the proper mechanics of hitting, catching, fielding, pitching and teamwork. Registration forms for the clinics are available on the league website at www.eteamz.com/scoll.
