Hamilton Cardinals’ Minor PeeWee player Grant Amorim is the Toronto Blue Jays PeeWee Player of the Month for July.

Each month from June to September, the Toronto Blue Jays recognize five outstanding individuals with the Blue Jays Amateur Player of the Month award.

This award is presented to the very best in each of the Blue Jays and Rogers sponsored divisions of Baseball Ontario. Recipients are selected based on four criteria: CAPS (Community involvement, Academic performance, Personal accomplishments, and Sportsmanship).

Award recipients are recognized during an on-field presentation prior to a Jays game. Winners are presented with a commemorative plaque, an autographed Blue Jays cap and four field level tickets to enjoy the game.

Grant Amorim was honored on the field prior to the July 27th game against Baltimore.
