Hamilton Cycling Club announces first-ever Youth Racing Team

The Hamilton Cycling Club is proud to announce its first-ever youth racing team, a talented squad of riders aged 16 to 20 years who are poised to compete at the highest levels of road cycling in Ontario.

Members of the HCC-Central Cycle Youth Racing Team include: Brandon Cole Fisher, Nick Burrows, Shane McCormick, Erik Dickenson, and Greg Archi. All of the racers are discipline in road races.

The race team, which is new for 2011, is co-sponsored by Hamilton Cycling Club, East Side Mario’s (Upper James) and Central Cycle, a local bike shop owned by former Olympic-level cyclist Brian Chewter.

Founded in 1881, the Hamilton Cycling Club is an amateur club in Hamilton, Ontario with more than 130 members. The club is active in road racing, mountain biking, time trials, hill climbs, track cycling, and cyclocross.
