Major Mosquitos pick up another win

The Major Mosquito Cardinals hosted the Kitchener Panthers in Hamilton’s fourth game in five nights, and picked up another win with a 13-3 victory.

After allowing the first three of four batters to reach base Starting pitcher Ian Jordan settled down and went four innings allowing 1 run on 4 hits with 6 strikeouts. Cameron McLeod pitched a solid 2 innings in relief allowing only 2 runs on 4 hits.

Offensively the Cardinals are slowly rubbing off the early season rust.

Ben Woodhouse once again had a productive day at the dish, going 1 for 3 with 2 RBIs. Also adding 2 RBIs was Sam Coons, who went 1 for 2 with a walk, and George Tsiflikiotis who went 1 for 3 with 2 RBIs in the bottom of the 6th to drive in the walk-off winning runs with the bases loaded.
