Mohawk quartet named OCAA soccer stars

The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association handed out its soccer awards at the Toronto Airport Hotel on Oct. 27.

Mohawk forward Ashley Hagen of Ancaster, who led the OCAA and was second in the country in goals with 12, was named to the league all-star team, along with fellow Mountaineer Shelby Dawdy of Carlisle.

On the men’s side, rookie goalkeeper Alex Mickeloff of Caledonia and six-goal striker Adam Petrina of Grimsby were named to the select team.
