Engqvist has a ticket to Montreal

The Montreal Canadiens have recalled forward Andreas Engqvist from the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Engqvist, 23, has played in seven games for Montreal this season, posting one shot, a +1 rating, two penalty minutes and 6:55 average time on ice. The 6-foot-4, 197-pound forward has played in seven games with the American Hockey League Bulldogs this season, posting five points (three goals, two assists), 11 shots, a + 2 rating and six penalty minutes.

The native of Bromma, Sweden was signed as a free agent by Montreal in 2009 after playing for Djurgarden of the Swedish Elite League.
