Back to Montreal for Engqvist

Twenty-four hours after he was returned from the Canadiens, Andreas Engqvist has been recalled by Montreal.

The Hamilton Bulldogs forward will join the Canadiens in Calgary for their National Hockey League game against the Flames on Tuesday (March 6).

Engqvist, 24, has played 11 games with the Canadiens this season, recording five blocked shots and nine hits. The 6-foot-1, 201-pound centre leads the American Hockey League’s Bulldogs in scoring with 34 points (18 goals, 16 assists) in 44 games this season.

The native of Stockholm, Sweden has eight power play goals and 100 shots on goal with the ‘Dogs in 2011-2012.
