The Hamilton 2nds learned that size does matter. Playing against a much bigger team in the Niagara Rugby Union’s Men’s C Division, the Hornets were shutout 34-0 by the Niagara Wasps 2nds on Saturday. The Hornets fell to 2-5 on the season while the Wasps improved to 5-2.

The Hamilton Hornets first XV braved stifling heat on Saturday (July 15) to overcome Burlington Centaurs at their home pitch. The match kicked off shortly after 12:00 and it was evident from the start that Burlington had fielded a much stronger squad than when the two clubs met earlier in the season in Hamilton.
