McMaster University cross-country star Jessica Pearo will be treading on familiar ground when she represents Canada at the 17th World University Championships in Kingston on April 11.
The event brings more than 150 competitors from 25 countries to Queen’s University, which will serve as the host institution.

Redfearn leads Mohawk in colleges’ national run

Mohawk College had four runners in the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association Cross Country Championships in Camrose, Alberta on Saturday (Nov. 14). Jonathan Redfearn finished 35th in a field of 88 men, completing the eight-kilometre course in 29:57. David Hirsh was 59th in 31:48. The race was won by Willie Kimosop of Lethbridge College in 25:53.
